Federal judge refuses to dismiss lawsuit accusing Meta of addicting children

A federal judge has rejected Meta Platforms' motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed by attorneys general from 29 U.S. states. The states accuse Meta of designing Facebook and Instagram to be addictive to children and of deliberately concealing the harmful effects from the public. The case will now proceed to trial.
