Kremlin hits back at Polish Defence Minister: Poland responsible for "Banderite regime"
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Poland has "for years supported the aspirations of the Banderite regime" and is now "responsible for what it tamed." Her remarks were a reaction to Polish Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, who said on Polsat News that "Ukraine will not enter the European Union with Bandera." Zakharova used the Polish statement to reinforce Russia's propaganda narrative about Ukraine.
