Netflix developing live-action Persona series, produced by director of Deadpool
Netflix has ordered a live-action series based on the iconic Persona video game franchise. Shawn Levy, director of Deadpool & Wolverine and Stranger Things, will produce, while Christopher Monfette (12 Monkeys, Star Trek: Picard) serves as showrunner and writer. The Persona franchise launched in 1996 and is part of the broader Megami Tensei media brand. Persona 6 and a Persona 4 remake titled Persona 4 Revival were recently announced.
