Russians more pessimistic about the economy than in 20 years

A Gallup Institute poll, reported by Reuters, shows Russians are more pessimistic about their national economy than at any point in the past 20 years. The majority of respondents say their standard of living is deteriorating. The perception of Russia as a militarily and economically strong power is increasingly undermined by the costs of war and international sanctions.
