California AG Bonta denies pushing Paramount to sell CNN amid merger probe
California Attorney General Rob Bonta has denied that his office is seeking to force Paramount to sell CNN as a condition of the proposed Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery merger. Bonta said he has "no idea" where that speculation comes from. David Ellison's Paramount Skydance is hoping to close the megamerger within the next several months despite ongoing legal scrutiny from Democratic attorneys general.
