Poland wins gold and bronze on opening day of Junior Canoe Slalom Worlds in Kraków

Poland had a brilliant start to the Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom World Championships at the Kolna course in Kraków, winning gold and bronze on the very first day of competition. Marek Kulczycki claimed the gold medal and expressed his delight: "This is exactly how I wanted to do this event — come and win." The Polish national anthem was heard on the opening day of the championships.
