Visa, Stripe and Coinbase Join Open USD Stablecoin Sharing Reserve Revenue

Visa, Stripe, Coinbase and other major companies have joined the Open USD stablecoin project, which will share reserve revenue with ecosystem participants. Expected to launch later this year, businesses will be able to mint and redeem Open USD without fees or volume limits, according to Open Standard. The partnership represents one of the largest industry consortiums yet in the stablecoin space.
