Polish Justice Minister Żurek: Witnesses in Court May Now Remain Seated

Polish Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek has signed a regulation allowing witnesses, expert witnesses and parties to legal proceedings to remain seated while appearing in court. Previously, giving testimony while standing was the standard practice. The change applies to all participants in court proceedings in Poland.
