France Passes Fast-Fashion Law Targeting Shein and Temu
France's Senate passed a law on Monday targeting ultra fast-fashion retailers like Shein, Temu and AliExpress after over two years of parliamentary debate. Companies will face fines of €0.25–€6 per product this year, rising to as much as €10 per product by 2030. The legislation aims to reduce the environmental impact of cheap, high-volume online fashion.
