Strong chest and back muscles linked to lower heart attack risk
Researchers at the University of Edinburgh used AI to analyse hospital scans of 1,722 patients, mostly in their 50s, who had chest pain. The analysis suggests that people with greater muscle density in the chest and back area are less likely to suffer a heart attack or die prematurely. Scientists believe this is because such individuals tend to exercise more.
