NASA plans robotic mission to boost the 22-year-old Swift Observatory to higher orbit

Rather than letting the 22-year-old Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory fall back to Earth, NASA plans to rescue it using a robotic spacecraft. The mission, called Swift Boost, would push the telescope into a higher orbit to extend its scientific and defence capabilities.
