Baldur's Gate 2 co-lead turned down Hasbro's offer to make Baldur's Gate 4, explains why

After Larian Studios passed on making Baldur's Gate 4, brand owner Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast approached the developers behind Baldur's Gate 2. The co-lead of that game turned down the offer, stating he would fail at the project and explaining his reasoning in detail. Hasbro is still searching for a studio to develop the next instalment in the series.
