Blue-green algae bloom closes beach in Gdynia city centre

Health authorities have closed one bathing area in central Gdynia due to a blue-green algae bloom, according to Poland's Chief Sanitary Inspectorate. Many other bathing sites across Poland have not yet been tested, as the official swimming season has not started everywhere simultaneously.
