EU Commission releases €3.9bn to boost Ukraine drone production

The European Commission has begun disbursing €3.9 billion to support drone production and strengthen Ukraine's defence capabilities. The funds come from the first tranche of an EU loan package worth approximately €90 billion approved for Kyiv. It represents one of the largest military-industrial support packages the EU has so far directed to Ukraine.
