Dutch scientists identify brain cells that worsen multiple sclerosis

A Dutch research team examined brain tissue from multiple sclerosis patients and identified a previously unknown cellular process that may drive disease progression. The findings were published in the journal Nature Neuroscience. The discovery could help explain why some MS patients experience a significantly more severe course of the disease than others.
