"47 Ronin" director Carl Rinsch gets 30 months for stealing $11M in Netflix funds
Hollywood director Carl Rinsch, best known for "47 Ronin," has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison. He diverted $11 million in Netflix TV production funds, spending the money on stock options, cryptocurrency and luxury purchases including Rolls-Royces. The case is one of the more high-profile instances of Hollywood production fraud in recent years.
