GTA 6 launching at 30fps only – 60fps mode not available at launch

Tech analysts at Digital Foundry predict GTA 6 will launch on consoles at 30fps only, as the game's CPU demands are too heavy for current hardware to support 60fps at launch. This applies to PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X. A 40fps mode for PS5 Pro is considered a possible compromise, but a full 60fps mode is expected to arrive only in a later update.
