Sony Sold 'Greyhound' Rights to Apple TV+ — Just Like Its Other Blockbuster

Sony has twice given up distribution rights to films that became massive streaming hits. The WWII action film "Greyhound" starring Russell Crowe was sold to Apple TV+, while the animated "KPop Demon Hunters" — sold to Netflix — became the platform's biggest hit ever with over 300 million views and a full year in the weekly top 10. Sony spent $100 million producing the animated film before handing it off.
