Sony Sold 'Greyhound' Rights to Apple TV+ — Just Like Its Other Blockbuster

One of the more interesting pieces of trivia about the streaming industry is that Sony has relinquished distribution rights to not just one, but two movies that turned out to be record-breaking blockbusters. The more recent of the two is KPop Demon Hunters , which emerged as Netflix's biggest hit of all time. The animated blockbuster is also the only Netflix movie to accumulate more than 300 million views , and recently completed an entire year on the streamer's weekly top 10 rankings . Sony spent $100 million on producing it. Something similar transpired only a few years earlier with the same studio. Sony sold the distribution rights of the World War II action film Greyhound to Apple TV.
