San Francisco Archdiocese to pay $395 million to 530 victims of clergy sex abuse

The Archdiocese of San Francisco will pay $395 million to 530 people who were sexually abused by priests during their childhood. The archbishop is required to write a personal letter of apology to each victim. The archdiocese must also implement additional child protection measures.
