"47 Ronin" director gets 30 months for gambling Netflix's $11M on Dogecoin
Carl Rinsch, director of "47 Ronin," has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for misappropriating $11 million advanced by Netflix for a TV series. Rather than producing the show, he gambled the money on stock options and Dogecoin, then spent the profits on luxury cars and watches. The series was never made.
