Venezuelans deported from the US killed hours later in powerful earthquakes
146 Venezuelans were deported from Texas to Caracas on June 24. Just hours after arriving, while being held in a guarded hotel, they were struck by two powerful earthquakes. Some of the deportees were killed in the twin quakes that hit shortly after their forced return to Venezuela.
