Mortgage Repayment Now Equals Rent in Poland, NBP Reports for Q1 2026

According to the NBP's quarterly real estate market report, in Q1 2026 the cost of servicing a home loan equalled the cost of renting an apartment in Poland. The estimated return on developers' equity from investment projects in the seven largest Polish cities stood at approximately 21%. This is a key signal for those weighing up buying versus renting.
