Polish health authority warns of unrefrigerated meat and dairy at markets during heatwave

Poland's Chief Sanitary Inspectorate has warned consumers that during record heatwave temperatures, meat and dairy products were being sold at open-air markets stored directly on tables and counters without refrigeration. Such conditions accelerate bacterial growth and risk food poisoning. The GIS spokesperson reminded traders that perishable products must be kept at no more than 4°C.
