21-year-old charged with murdering Ukrainian man near Warsaw, caught at border

The district prosecutor's office in Legionowo has charged 21-year-old Artem S. with the murder of a 35-year-old Ukrainian citizen. The killing took place on the night of 25–26 June 2026. The suspect was detained two days later at the Medyka border crossing. Prosecutors have applied for his pre-trial detention.
