"47 Ronin" director Carl Rinsch gets 2.5 years for defrauding Netflix of millions
Director Carl Rinsch was sentenced in a New York court to two and a half years in prison for fraud and money laundering at Netflix's expense. He must report to prison on September 1 and will be supervised after release. He was also ordered to repay Netflix $11 million. Keanu Reeves' plea for leniency did not sway the judge — the case stemmed from the Netflix series "Conquest," which Rinsch was hired to produce.
