Philippines raises Manila minimum wage by record 12% amid inflation

Workers in the Philippine capital Manila will receive a record 12% wage increase in response to rising inflation, Labour Secretary Francis Tolentino announced on Tuesday. The implementation of the pay rise is set to begin this month.
