Russia repairs ageing Airbuses as fleet shrinks and air traffic declines
Air traffic in Russia is declining due to Ukrainian drone strikes on airports, fuel shortages and a shrinking fleet. Russian airlines are servicing only older Airbus aircraft as sanctions cut off access to new Western planes and spare parts. Domestic aircraft production is unable to replace the losses.
