Indonesian bonds draw $1.2bn in biggest monthly inflow in over a year
Indonesian government bonds are on track for their biggest monthly inflow in more than a year, drawing $1.2 billion as higher yields attract foreign funds. The government deliberately raised yields to lure overseas investors and stabilise the rupiah. The strategy appears to be working, with foreign fund interest rising noticeably.
