After five seasons, The Bear has officially wrapped up, with a beautiful final season that takes place almost entirely over the course of one day. The Bear 's final season sees the staff of The Bear working tirelessly to get through another service, and ultimately coming out of it triumphant. Carmy ( Jeremy Allen White ), meanwhile, solidifies his decision to leave the restaurant by interviewing at an architectural firm. The Bear 's final season wrapped up multiple series-long storylines, but it also left a number of things open in its ending. Carmy and Sydney's ( Ayo Edebiri ) partnership and friendship have always been at the center of The Bear. They have previously had a number of charged scenes, and they are a fan-favorite ship. Season 5 of The Bear doesn't ever fully commit to addressing the romantic possibility of this pairing in either direction, but it still strengthens their connection, cementing Carmy and Sydney as The Bear 's best ship.
