San Francisco Archdiocese Settles Abuse Claims for $395 Million
The San Francisco Archdiocese has reached a $395 million settlement with survivors of sexual abuse. Under the terms of the agreement, the San Francisco Archbishop will write a personal letter of apology to each survivor. The settlement is one of the largest of its kind in the history of the Catholic Church in the United States.
