Trump Says Iran Requested Doha Meeting; Tehran Denies Direct US Talks

US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that Iran had requested a meeting in Doha on Tuesday. The White House confirmed that envoy Steve Witkoff and adviser Jared Kushner would travel to Qatar for high-level talks. Tehran, however, denied engaging in direct negotiations with Washington, contradicting Trump's account.
