CPJ removes Gaza fighters from journalist casualty database after obituary review
The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) has reviewed its Gaza journalist casualty database and removed individuals who were identified in obituaries published by Palestinian militant groups as fighters rather than reporters. The errors involved people initially logged as journalists. CPJ says it will continue verifying the remaining entries in the database.
