Rocket Lab to acquire satellite communications firm Iridium

Space company Rocket Lab has announced the acquisition of Iridium, a satellite communications firm. The deal aims for vertical integration — enabling Rocket Lab to build, launch and operate its own spacecraft quickly and cost-effectively.
