Tidal will not monetize AI-generated music on its platform

Streaming service Tidal has announced that AI-generated music will not earn royalties on its platform. Such tracks will still be allowed but flagged with special badges identifying them as AI-created. The policy sits between Bandcamp's outright January ban and Apple Music's transparency tags introduced in March 2025.
