France passes fast fashion law targeting Shein and Temu

The French parliament on Monday passed a bill aimed at curbing the rise of fast fashion, with measures specifically targeting major Asian e-commerce platforms including Shein and Temu. The legislation seeks to reduce the environmental and market impact of ultra-cheap, high-volume clothing sales. France becomes one of the first countries to adopt such direct regulations against fast fashion platforms.
