Tidal to Stop Paying Royalties on 100% AI-Generated Music from July 15th

Music streaming platform Tidal has announced new policies on AI-generated music, set to take effect from July 15th. Tracks identified as 100% AI-generated will no longer be monetisable, and will be labelled with a dedicated icon. Tidal stops short of an outright ban, framing the policy as a way to protect human artists and keep listeners informed about the origin of the music they hear.
