Comcast split: NBCUniversal and Sky to remain together

Comcast CEO Mike Cavanagh has told staff that NBCUniversal and Sky "fit well together and are set up for success" ahead of their spin-off from Comcast's cable and broadband division. Cavanagh, who will lead the new media entity, conveyed his confidence in an internal memo. The split will separate the entertainment assets from Comcast's core infrastructure business.
