Mountain rescuers airlift family trapped by storm on Orla Perć ridge

A family of five became stranded on the Kozie Czuby section of the Orla Perć ridge in the Tatra Mountains during a violent thunderstorm, with rocks too slippery for them to descend on their own. The Tatra Mountain Rescue Service (TOPR) dispatched a rescue helicopter, which airlifted some of the group to safety. The rescue operation took place on Monday.
