Bitmine grows Ethereum treasury to 5.7M ETH worth $8.9B, joins Russell 1000

Bitmine added 27,084 ETH last week, bringing its total Ethereum holdings to 5.70 million coins valued at $8.9 billion. The company has now reached 94% of its target of holding 5% of ETH's total supply. Bitmine also joined the Russell 1000 Index during the period described as a "challenging" weekly slide for the asset.
