Steam Machine reservations appear on eBay with up to $235 markup

Despite Valve's efforts to prevent scalpers from disrupting the Steam Machine launch, users have begun listing their device reservations — not the finished hardware — on eBay. At least one reservation has already sold with a $235 premium above the retail price. Valve has no mechanism to prevent individuals from reselling their own reservations.
