Rocket Lab acquires Iridium in historic space industry deal

Rocket Lab has announced the acquisition of Iridium, the global satellite communications network operator, in a deal described as historic for the space industry. The merger would create a fully integrated company combining launch services with an established global satellite network. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed in the press release.
