Heavy rain and hail hit Podkarpacie region in Poland

Heavy rain and hail struck the Baligród Forest District in the Podkarpacie region of Poland. The forestry office described the storm as "tropical in intensity." It is the first notable weather event of this kind recorded in the region this summer season.
