Polish Banking Sector Profits Drop 15.6% in First Five Months of 2025

Poland's banking sector earned 17.61 billion zlotys in net profit from January to May 2025, a 15.6% decline compared to the same period a year earlier, according to National Bank of Poland data. Profit in May alone reached 4.39 billion zlotys. The NBP did not specify the reasons behind the drop.
