Poland's banking sector earned 17.61 billion zlotys in net profit from January to May 2025, a 15.6% decline compared to the same period a year earlier, according to National Bank of Poland data. Profit in May alone reached 4.39 billion zlotys. The NBP did not specify the reasons behind the drop.

Cyberpunk 2 director Paweล Sasko explained that the high quality of side quests in The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 is a deliberate studio policy, not coincidence. From 1 July 2025, medical residents in priority specialisations in Poland will receive higher salaries โ up to PLN 11,600 gross at the start, rising to over PLN 12,000 gross after the first two years of training. The increases follow an update to minimum healthcare wages linked to the national average salary. The changes are intended to encourage doctors to choose scarce specialisations.

The previous record of 25.2ยฐC was set in 1982. The Karkonosze National Park staff confirmed the historic reading.
