Ben Stokes rules out returning for the 2026 Ashes: "I'm done"

England captain Ben Stokes has firmly rejected suggestions that he could reverse his international retirement ahead of next year's Ashes series against Australia. Stokes stated bluntly "I'm done", ending speculation about a possible comeback. England will therefore face Australia in the Ashes without their skipper.
