Empty hairspray can goes in metal recycling or hazardous waste – not general rubbish

An empty hairspray canister should go in the metals and plastics recycling bin, but only if it is completely empty and fully depressurised. If any product remains or the valve is blocked, the can must be taken to a hazardous waste collection point (PSZOK in Poland) because pressurised residues make it dangerous. The decisive factor is whether the container is truly empty and safe.
