Germany sets new temperature record of 41.7°C during brutal heatwave
Germany set a new national temperature record of 41.7°C on Sunday, according to preliminary data from the German weather service. France 24 correspondent Nick Holdsworth reported from Berlin on the record-breaking heatwave. The extreme heat has been described as "brutal" and affected much of the country.
