Fraud gang behind 5,000 scams worth PLN 4 million arrested in Poland

Four men aged 22 to 38 have been arrested at the request of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Łódź on suspicion of participating in a criminal gang. The group carried out around 5,000 fraud offences totalling nearly PLN 4 million across almost all of Poland, luring victims with fake deals and false "guarantees." Each suspect faces up to 12 years in prison.
