Swedish submarine Södermanland to serve Poland as A26 gap filler

Following the signing of a contract for Sweden's A26-class submarines, Poland will first receive the older Södermanland (A17S-class) vessel as a gap filler until the new boats are delivered. The submarine is set to be based at the Gdynia-Oksywie naval port. The A17S is an older but still operational Swedish submarine class.
