57-year-old arrested after fatally hitting 72-year-old pedestrian and fleeing the scene
A court in Łęczyca, Łódź region, remanded a 57-year-old man in custody on suspicion of fatally running over a 72-year-old in the village of Górki Pęcławskie. The driver fled without stopping, claiming he did not know what he had hit. He turned himself in at a police station several hours later.
